Disturbed with murders of rationalist .... !

Most of my friends may feel that I am criticising the bureaucracy and government because, though I tried hard to join the IAS, I could not become part of the governance system since I did not clear the exams. I am the same person as the student who was preparing for the IAS exams, but did not pass. The difference is that today I have changed my path, but not my vision.

In a way, I am relieved that I am not a part of that system. I understand the importance of the State as an institution and do not deny its role in governance. And in future, I will always work with State institutions and civil society because I believe in the State. Though I believe in the Marxist ideology, I will make the State work for the common good. I know I can do it.

But I would like to make some serious allegations against the institutions of the State. Let us take the assassinations of Dr. Narendra Dabholkar and now Comrade Govind Pansare. Let us also consider the lakhs of farmer suicides and the thousands of common people killed in terrorist bomb blasts; the women killed after rape and for dowry; female foeticide … The list is unending ...

Why is it that such criminals do not fear the State? I feel it is because they know that the State is itself one of the biggest criminals and that they can easily escape from the law and order system, because it has become “a family business”!

You can't punish the criminals, because the criminal is a party member. By their continued inaction, the police department and political institutions as well as leaders, with the bureaucracy and judiciary, are complicit in the murders of Dr. Narendra Dabholkar and Comrade Govind Pansare. The common masses can only question Authority, but they cannot become the legitimate authority to take action.

The police are inactive because today they are puppets of their political masters and institutions and are therefore unable to investigate and put the criminals behind the bars... Likewise, the judiciary of India can only kill Justice. The bureaucracy can only warm their chairs by sitting for hours and hours in one place ...

Meanwhile, ‘the Pradhan Sevak’ is busy fooling the common people by wearing expensive coats and auctioning them! What kind of government machinery is this?

I am happy that my friends – Harshal Lohakare, Ashwini Satav-Doke, Rajan Dandekar and Hanumant Pawar – ended their six-day hunger-strike with a resolution to fight anew. Many citizens like me will support them. And we will work together, creating awareness about people’s rights and for better livelihoods.

I may use sharp and bitter language. That is because I need to express myself. Or I will die of suffocation. Yet I try not to react, but respond to the endless questions which rise up in my restless mind. But I am not pessimistic when it comes to my actions. I am not discouraged to leave things as they are. It is my responsibility to work effectively and keep learning while challenging the current situation. I feel it is possible that the pain of the people can be reduced; that Justice is possible; and that the State can function better.

I hope I can do everything that is possible and repay the burden of debt that I owe to the two great leaders who have sacrificed their lives for a better society. And I wish to gain the support and love of all, so that I can keep walking and working and support the struggles, the movement for people's rights and Justice.

Disclaimer: This is not a general discussion on the role of the Police department; there are good and bad people everywhere ... I am not expressing myself generally ... I have a specific concern ... !

If we Keep justifying such things then we have to be prepared to see our own family as a victim in riot... !!!

Friends,

I am formulating this message not in deep anger and frustration but  in complete senses, where we all need to think and reflect on it.  some how  I am loosing faith in democracy. And I wish, I should restore it for this I need your support. I do not feel that majority is democracy, democracy should incorporate majority interest along with minorities. Indian democracy is a great challenge for all of us. We cannot loose hope when majority comes to power and minority has to suffer. We have to raise our voice,  when voices are being murdered.

The recent statement of BJP MP Anil shirole  that,  the  Pune murder is some repercussions on facebook post is natural...is very dangerous I feel. If authorities start justifying violence like this, then  this is beginning of end of Indian democracy.

The murder of techie, Shaikh Mohasin Sadiq (28) was because of uploading of derogatory pictures of warrior king Shivaji and late Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray on Facebook by unknown persons, this also led to riots in the city of Pune and surrounding areas.

When people are frustrated and gets instigated by communal reactions, it is duty of MP's or any authority to make responsible public statements, which helps to build faith and maintain peace in the society. But Mr. Shirole publicly calling a murder as natural repercussion is adding fuel to such environment. These people needs a lesson from "We the people of India", they cannot take us for granted...  Why is media silent on this. ?  We make issue of people who is fighting for what is right and we are used to ignore what is grossly wrong. Where are we heading.

Communal riots are not accidents... they turn into forest fire when a political leader makes a spontaneous remark which is bias, who takes responsibility of damage. Here Mr. Shirole had good opportunity to be an unbiased face of a party which is majorly known as having Hindutva ideology. Definitely if I would have been a follower of Islam, I would feel that I have to live with huge burden of fear and threat to my life because here leaders who are face of ruling government makes such statements.

Is it that death of Dr. Narendra  Dabholkar should also be taken in same lines then....? That  it was a repercussion ... right...????.  What all they would justify now, Where do we have go for justice. ? One should  don't wish to seek help for justice, I feel justice needs to be created. It does not exist with someone, like person or institution or system .
The system of Justice lies within your intentions, your reactions and response to all kind of  unjust acts. So it is you who has to create Justice , do not seek for it , create it. And share with all.

Imagine if Gandhi would have been not thrown on platform,if  Mahatma Phule had not been allowed to attend his fiend's marriage, if Savitribai Phule had not been abused for her vision to educate women in India, if Ambedkar had not been treated unjustly everywhere he went. Where we would have been ....?

By accepting wrong, unjust we are eradicating the efforts of these people who has toiled their entire life for all of us. Think, rethink..... Life is not that easy joke, that somebody would kill you because they think you were wrong, without knowing what is going wrong... ???

If we Keep justifying such things then we have to be prepared to see our own family as a victim in riot... !!!

Friends raise your voice against such statements.... so what if he is MP... we are citizens of this nation...!!! I feel MP's, MLA's, MLC's  like Mr. Shirole should either resign or take immediate action on the incidence and should publicly say sorry on what they said... !!!!

We cannot set them free for what they are doing, or we will be caught in their trap , which everyone would call it as accident.

So, speak out, ask questions, give time to know what is truth and fight for it.

 May Humanity truimph over evrything that exist.

let us hold hands together to clean Indian politics .... !!! Come , dare to vote , and vote for change ... !!!

Whatever ... but there are butterflies in my stomach .. It is really wonderful feeling, I was never excited to this level about exercising my voting right and campaigning for a party..  This time I don't have to choose between worst.. I have a straight forward clean and efficient choice AAP candidate (Prof. Subhash Ware).. And I am extremely proud about the choice I am making. I know I am voting with a purpose..!!!

I am least bothered about the result, but I know I can tune in with the agenda of AAP... The agenda has set huge responsibilities for us... Voting is just the beginning of the work...  We have to dig the issues, understand them, build the process about how we can work on it. We don't have to be politician or a parliamentarian to work on national issues but we can contribute to the same by being what we are .. this is the essence  of AAP .. Politics is not the game of bloody corrupt, communal, castiest and hypocrite people... Politics is all about you and me ... We have to take decision for ourselves... It is high time now, we have to be responsible for the choices we make... !!!

Remember our constitution says "WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens:
JUSTICE, social, economic and political;
LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship;
EQUALITY of status and of opportunity;
and to promote among them all
FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the nation"

So the choice is very clear, do not follow the crowd, family ,religion,, community  follow your own voice, the voice which needs attention since decades, One vote can make a difference, your vote can change the system.... Be the beginner, stop repeating the mistakes, make a new mistake .. And this time we would be responsible for our mistakes... let us hold hands together to clean Indian politics .... !!! Come , dare to vote , and vote for change ... !!!

1 train- 12 locations- 15 days- 450 young people- 8000kms...This is the  summary of my external journey  .  But for me this was more about internal journey ....!!!!!!

 Jagriti Yatra is an annual train journey that takes hundreds of highly motivated youth ,   between the age group  of 20-25 years  and experienced professionals with age above 25 yrs. on a 15 day day national odyssey, introducing them to unsung heroes of India, Role model visits of innovation and social entrepreneurship . If this continues...The force of Youth will be killed.... And I dont wish to be killed ...!!!

I feel like denouncing Citizenship of this country.....I would hate myself being a part of Youth and behave like a dependent. But I am not an escapist, hence I would agitate and demand justice for my nation. And I know There are lakhs of mind who would support my thought. In spirit we are Indians. I need not mention about Glory of Indians. We are best in everything that exist in this world, but at same parameter we have worst results as well and this contradictions exists only in our nation...? why..? We all know the reasons,  Why not concentrate on solutions.

It is always said  that a nation is nothing without its people, a nation is a race. But if my nation is full of these people , I don't want to be a part of it. I may sound absurd, but I am fed-up of these thick skin reactions of the people and the politicians.

The economist of the nation are worried about the declining growth rate of GDP, the scientists are worried about space missions, the technologists and software industry is worried about OBAMA's policy of protectionism.... Here everybody is right as they are doing their assigned duty. And I respect them all.

What about our so called " Elected Representative " ? What are they doing..? They are only playing with our sentiments. I know they are not our true representative. We hardly find our representative in the assembly. Everything is  put-forth as mandatory on us. Every thing is so discouraging,  People like Kiran Bedi, Arvind Kejriwal, Aamir Khan are being tainted. And people like Kalmadi, Kannimozi are on bail. Where honest IAS, and IPS and other Officers fall prey to the Maosist, Terrorist, crime- muscle power,  a wild nexus build by the system and supported by the system.

The issue of Presidential candidate has made Indian politics not only immature but foolish, rubbish and nonsense.  It is so clear that Congress Raaj is destroying the spirit of Democracy, Republic. Other parties don't even dare to have any  role. How ridiculous. ? I know the the Post of President is ceremonial, but this does not mean we will accept any scrap. Why are we always settled with less worst... As options are full of worst people, even if something better exist and is capable and dedicated and most important deserved. I also know that in India even the post of PM is Ceremonial, he being clean and honest makes our mouth shut. But if this continues, just imagine  where we are marching....?

This might sound as a lecture. and nobody has time to spend time on this. But what are we doing as a citizen of our nation. I would hate myself being a part of Youth and behave like a dependent. We have witnessed revolution, I am not demanding the same. But we need to give at least a single thought in a day to think about nation's welfare and its issues, and surely we can do something concrete.

 In this globalised world you might feel the concept of nation is defined by MNCs, Global economy, etc, hence u may not need our nation, and you can settle any where in the world. But our nation needs us.Please stand against the injustice done to our nation by our own people. It's not my request but  I strongly demand a common voice, Voice of the Citizen, To protect yourself and our nation from these hypocrisy.

Don't Know which kind of feeling I am going through........ ???????????

I don't wish to discuss the history, that India was like this and  it became like this now.... !!!! why I am forced to have faith in people who are wicked, corrupt, culprit, criminal  and dishonest... !!! Its such a disgusting feeling about them... why... ? I just don't feel proud about India any more ... I am trying to build faith but I don't wish to build my faith on these false and hollow optimism and deliberately having faith in good ....

Its just pretty simple we demand honesty and integrity form people who take oath to be like that. .. If these parliamentarians are considering themselves supreme or sovereign  then why their acts are of cowards and hypocrites...

Democracy is above all in the present era. We demand developmental democracy.  No need to read the entire constitution just go through this preamble ---

"WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens:
JUSTICE, social, economic and political;
LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship;
EQUALITY of status and of opportunity;
and to promote among them all
FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity of the Nation;
IN OUR CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY this twenty-sixth day of November, 1949, do HEREBY ADOPT, ENACT AND GIVE TO OURSELVES THIS CONSTITUTION."

It clearly mentions "We the People...." , Not we the Parliamentarians... But yessss the job is assigned to Parliamentarians and bureaucrats and all such institutions which are giving public service and whatsoever ... Its not that only Government institute need to be honest and improvise

And look at what have we achieved....?  Media is partly or fully sold out ... Quality of education is only for rich who can afford to pay in lakhs.... Poor people cannot afford to fall ill as they cannot afford to pay bill ...  We can have hundreds of lights in malls but a poor Indian kid  who tries to study after working in farm has to sit under lantern , and that also his/ her mother shouts at them that dont waste so much of kerosene or oil for studying finally you have to work in farm only.... The collector is burnt alive when he gets hold of a mafia or his scam....  but criminals are bailed out easily if not easily but with some drama but no justice to the victim...

What has our freedom fighters dreamt about our nation and what have we made it... The culprit is each and everyone of us... why not simply do your duty the way it is told... why u need always something extra without putting any extra effort...

As an Indian what I demand from my nation and what do I contribute as a citizen. When as a citizen I am responsible enough towards my nation why cant this nation be towards me.. If parliament is supreme let them be but why do they act like   one of of the "  inferior species " on earth.

Now some highly intelligent people might argue no there are good people also and Anna movement is unconstitutional and blah ... blahhh ... blahhh ... and story continues the parliament with few good people  has burried voice and the   anna movement  or  people's agitation is nonsense.... then life goes on and we will get up everyday read newspaper which is paid news,  we will watch cricket and some movies every weekend ... if cannot afford to spend then window shopping ... why worry.... lets take a sigh of relief....

Life will go on... no worry ... we have at least some  facilities if not good facilities ... why complain ... lets adjust and adapt ..... but wait think for a while why adjust and why adapt ... why not complain ... why not raise issues.... why not...?

In defence of the Civil Groups

This article is written by my  friend Shandilya Prashant .... His views would reflect the voice of every Indian this is what I felt when I read it... I wished to share with my other friends as well....

Some questions and their answers:

            After Anna Hazare’s victory a number of questions are being now raised, particularly related to the defence of democratic values and institutions, the question of accountability of civil groups, the alleged dictatorship of civil groups and so on and so forth. So let’s attempt all these questions individually. Some of the questions that has been raised are as follows –

  • The method would undermine democratic institutions viz. Parliament, separation of power, rights of executive
  • It is akin to dictatorship of the civil right groups as they are unaccountable. Moreover, its blackmailing by the Civil Groups.
  • This would set wrong precedent. Further the democracy has self corrective measure and hence no need for such acts (to an extent that democracy is only form of Government with self corrective measures – Neera Chandhoke) – e.g. non performing governments are voted out.
  • It was a demonstration by a few people and has no democratic legitimacy.
  • From where does the civil societies derive their legitimacy. Further, the civil societies (NGOs) themselves are corrupt.
  • the masses that gathered behind Anna were mostly apolitical (i.e they have neither read the Bill, nor were aware of its implication…in short they were sheep - Tavleen Singh)
  • Anna has degraded the common Indian voters
  • The allegation of nepotism in the drafting committee.
  • The proposal in the draft are autocratic or even hysterical
  • The Bill cant provide for children’s education and medical (Kapil Sibbal)
  •  There are no women/Dalit in the drafting committee (Renuka Chaudhari/Paswan)

Mat kaho aakash me kuhra Ghana hai
Ye kisi ki Vyaktigat aalochana hai

There are no clouds in the sky, which is so bright and clean and if you happen to see the darkness then it could be well, your personal opinion.

            This couplet of Bhartendu Harishchandra, a comment on the then socio-political situation, so aptly summarizes the prevailing situation in today’s India aka Bharat. If the ‘saviours of democracy’ were to be believed, the democracy is an end in itself, that there should not be any act or attempt which is not strictly in accordance with the ‘book of democracy’, that there are only minor problems with the system which would be resolved eventually-if not automatically and that all the attempts by the civil societies (CS, may for now read Anna Hazare et al) are autocratic, designed to grab power without responsibility and are in gross violation of democracy and democratic principles to the extent that if not checked immediately, they may end up destroying democracy.

1.         So lets begin with the first assumption, that this movement in particular and such movements in general are detrimental to democracy, as they undermine the ‘established’ procedures of democracy. It seems that these ‘saviours of democracy’ once read about democracy in the books and taking it as sacrosanct, became so orthodox that for them democracy has become an end in itself, which is even dearer than the “demo” (people) itself. They do not talk about democracy. They talk about the ‘concept of democracy’ which they once read in the books and never got to see what actually it is in practice. They have become almost dogmatic about it, no less than the religious radicals who can not tolerate a word against their respective Gods or religions.

            Democracy is not a static concept. Its not piece of cloth, which we imported from west, and which has to be wore as such. It is a dynamic concept. It’s a living concept. It evolves with societies. Societies adopt democracy and adept itself to it. So to keep saying the movements by civil societies are against the established norms of democracy is stupidity at best and dangerous at worst. In fact it seems that such allegations themselves aimed at strangling democracy by denying it the very oxygen that it requires in order to grow with a society.

            Further, in what way this demonstration was detrimental to democracy? Is it that they (Hazare and others) demanded to enact the law themselves, bypassing Parliament? Did they ask to deprive the Parliament from debating it? No. In what manner is it an interference with the Parliament’s right to draft and enact laws? Let us ask a simple question…and mind you, a practical one - who actually drafts the bill to be presented in the Houses – bureaucrats. So what is wrong, if one such draft comes from the CS? How is it a dilution of democracy? Secondly, our democratic system also does not adhere to the principle of separation of power, one of the fundamental principles of democracy. In our system, it is the executive which drafts the bill. And, dear friends, to your surprise, the democracy is still functioning, isn’t? So the intelligentia never found a problem with these changes, which we adopted as per our requirements. Likewise, this episode may also prove another milestone in “our democracy”, and if not, this would not survive. So why crying so hard over such minor change, unless of course there is some vested interest?

            Another argument is being forwarded that it would establish a wrong precedence. That, what would happen if from tomorrow all and sundry start fast unto death for all kind of demands? As it has been noted earlier, the intelligentia’s theoretical debates are generally in vacuum. How many times you have come across such movements in last sixty or so years? Two – the JP movement and now Anna Hazare. So why fear that this will become a usual phenomenon. By all means it would not. This time a series of scams necessitated this movement. Every morning when you wake up with the news paper, you are made to feel so much hopeless and helpless. Scams after scams of such magnitude with such impunity. Ladies and Gentlemen, drastic situations demand drastic measures. These all objections are theoretical in nature. I dare any one of them to just replicate this movement; and forget about generating such mass support. It would just not happen. People came out on street (according to one, few dozens J) not because an old man with some other folks was fasting for some demand. People supported the movement because it was Anna Hazare who was fasting along with people like Arvind Kejariwal in support of a demand to curb corruption. People have seen and known Anna Hazare and his deeds, and he was not hallucinating (as another respected journalist observed) to feel that people across India does have faith in him. So lets not ask hypothetically what will happen if everyone start doing this…and lets ask, who will do this? Who can generate such mass movement, if the cause is not just which appeals to the masses? And if the cause is such and the Government is so insensitive, then by all means one should resort to this, to help the very democracy survive.

            Another question is being raised by the legitimacy of the CSs in general and Anna Hazare in particular. And, as a corollary, they are unaccountable, to the extent of being dictatorial!! That Anna and their ilk have not fought elections and therefore lack legitimacy. Let us ask these people, have they fought any election before presenting their views in defence of democracy or did they put their views for referendum so that they can claim to legitimacy? No. they derive their legitimacy from the very concept of democracy and rightfully so, without fighting election. Then how come the CSs are dubbed to be unaccountable if they do not fight election? They also constitute a significant component of our system, which is ever so evolving.

            It is also being said that the CSs are unaccountable. However, on one bothers to explain what is implied here by accountability. A govt institution is accountable because it has been endowed with certain rights and it is run by the public money. Likewise, Parliament is accountable to its electorate because it obtains its right of existence from them. However, media is not accountable in similar manner. (And unfortunately, in our system media is not accountable at all, but that is another issue). However, the accountability of media and so is of the civil society is ensured through the direct participation of people. If a media house start ignoring the mass sentiment blatantly, it would cease to exist. And if a civil society tends to be autocratic, it would loose all the mass support. So why fear !!

            Interestingly, it is also being dubbed blackmail. It seems that they do not understand the meaning of blackmail itself. Blackmail is when a person (or a group in this case) tries to take undue advantage (apparently personal) owing to possession of information of an act of omission or commission which is socially/legally not acceptable. I wonder, what were the ‘black’ deeds of govt, of which Anna Hazare wanted to, or as they are crying, did take undue advantage? Is asking for an effective Lokpal is being considered such an undue advantage?

            It is also being argued that democracy has corrective measures. It would remove all the anomalies by itself, one day. However, it has not been explained what are these corrective measures, how do they take place and how long it may take. Would it happen that one fine day the corrupt politicians would have a change of heart by the magic of democracy? For the last sixty years it has not happened. By that token, the corrective measures of an autocratic system like Egypt is far effective – people there threw their despotic Government after thirty years only!! It is also said that the an ineffective govt is voted out. And? What if the next of the kind also does not perform and the next and the next…what alternative one is left with? Arvind Kejariwal, during an interview, said that they exhausted all democratic means – they wrote to PM, to Super PM (my expression, meaning Sonia Gandhi), tried to meet ministers, bureaucrats but no one responded…what options he had? None of these saviors of democracy has explained.

            There are also allegations that the so called CS (NGOs) themselves are corrupt. Unfortunately they have stopped just short of explaining the corruption in CS. Most of the corruption involves misuse of funds by the NGOs meant for various schemes of development. However, in virtually all cases, the misuse of the fund takes place with the connivance of the govt officials themselves and if we manage to curb the corruption in govt, it would automatically remove corruption from NGOs as well.

            A lot of noise was also made on the presence of father-son in the drafting committee. Then there was Renuka Chaudhari demanding a woman member and Ramvilas Paswan demanding a Dalit member in the drafting committee. Lets first deal with the issue of nepotism. Media, as always hungry for some spices, made a huge issue of it. However, no one bothered to explain that it was the same father-son duo, who away from the public glaring, when neither Renuka Chaudhari nor Dalit Masiha Paswan even thought of the bill, spend time and energy while drafting the bill. Now that it all becomes popular, one of them should quit to avoid the criticism of nepotism. Funny. Moreover, as Kejariwal himself explained, there are no material gains to be have from the committee…so what nepotism?

            One very experience and reputed journalist lamented that the masses, the ‘few dozens’ so called candle-bearing middle class, were apolitical, that they have not read the draft of the Bill, that they do not completely understand the entire implication of the bill and so on. To an extent the observations are right. However, it reflects all the more on the faith Anna Hazare commands amongst people (whom the same journalist called hallucinating to be like Mahatma Gandhi). Could we ask that all the people who responded to Mahatma Gandhi’s call were fully political? Were they all aware and understood the concept of non-violence and Truth in its entirety and understood the implications of the call made by Gandhi? Highly doubtful. Yet they responded, not because they were ‘very political’ but because they had faith in him. And moreover, the whole process in itself has an educating purpose. The number of people knowing and caring about Lokapl, before and after AD (Anna Domini – after Anna), in itself is a proof that such movements are more educating in a very short period than an entire session of Parliament (which more often than not is sacrificed for the sake of the tussle between the ruling party and opposition).

            In a separate and rather personal attack on Anna Hazare, quite a few media persons have taken ‘strong exception’ to Hazare’s statement that Indian voters cast their votes for material consideration, alleging that it is degrading the “common” Indian voter. Well, probably here lies the difference between common man and intelligentia. What most of us would consider a genuine frustration born out of the corrupt practice in our electoral system, the intelligentia construes it as an attack on the common man. A class apart indeed! Positively, most of us have either said or heard similar sentiments number of times. Not to mention the plethora of news coming out about distribution of saris, cash and other things before and during elections. Not going very far, in the very recently held state elections, several news  items were reported by the same media houses about cash being recovered at various places, meant for election bound states. Brother of D Raja (of 2-G fame) was arrested, for distributing material things during Tamil Nadu election. So does it amount to the degradation of the common voter? Or the common voter, like the ‘concept’ of democracy, has also become so sacrosanct that you can not raise a finger at him, in spite of the proofs being thrown at you all the time. Calling a spade a spade in democracy could be detrimental to the democracy !

            Then there are some objections, like one expressed by noted Supreme Court lawyer and HRD and Telecom Minister Kapil Sibbal, that the bill can’t provide for children’s education and medical facility to poor. You couldn’t be more right sir. So let’s scrap the bill and lo and behold – we have all children in school and all poor getting medical facilities. A small issue however remains. Since so far we didn’t have a Loakpal, how come they were deprived of these benefits? Probably you just forgot sir, no? Well, it’s never too late. Let’s scrap the bill, and by the magic wand of Mr Sibbal, all is done. I’m positive that Anna Hazare would also agree to this proposal. Another related argument is that the Bill, or for that matter no Bill, could remove corruption completely. So? So throw away the efforts. By same logic, NAREGA has not been able to provide job to all needed, in spite of the fact that it provides guarantee!! Likewise, Mid Day Meal Scheme also failed to bring all children to school. Therefore, these too should be scrapped? You know the answer better.

            Of these criticisms certain valid concerns has also been raised, mostly related to the provisions of the bill, including the process of selection of Loakpal and the powers that it would enjoy. However, the proposed Bill is only a draft and there is always a scope for improvement. But to reject the whole effort on this pretext does smell of some thing rotten. We must give a chance not only to this movement but also to this new phenomenon in our ‘experiment with democracy’ before rejecting it out rightly at the alter of the dogma of democracy.

India Bharat----- Divided or United

India' is an entity, largely Anglicised and relatively better-off, which obtained the legacy of colonial exploitation from the British; while `Bharat' is largely rural, agricultural, poor and backward, and is subjected to colonial-like exploitation even after the end of the Raj.........And its the exploitation of India over Bharat I feel.........

There’s a huge gap between India and Bharat. The dream of India as a superpower is very attractive, but who will bridge the gap between India and Bharat? Do we have hopes from the political leaders? Its impossible to nod our head and say yes.... Isnt it?

So its who's responsibility ? Its difficult and har to take blame on our head but that is the reality... we have to first accept and agree that its because of us this gap is widening. How can we forget the Rural Bharat ? We have our two times meal because of them and they are hungry because of us.....

It is said that India is a young country with youth potential unexplored yet. I feel why don't we take up the responsibility , dont rely on these double standard politicians..... lets face this challege on our own ... we will bridge the gap..... and will knit India and Bharat together with the Idea of  United India. And we could really do this it just requires the commitment to ourselfs ond our mother  land...... we can start in any feild be it education, politics, community service, technology assistance, environment, and so on.... lets start  ..... I have started in my own way to do this....

lets contribute in this dream.....
